Let's talk about who actually shops at Mattress Outlet.
You might be surprised.
We get everyone from young adults buying their very first mattress to couples upgrading to a king-size bed. We see parents shopping for their growing kids, grandparents preparing the guest room, and Airbnb owners looking to give their guests a better night's sleep.
And you know what?
They're all here for pretty much the same reason. They want a really good mattress without spending more than they have to.
We get it.
Sleep is important. Really important, actually. But so is your budget, and we don't believe the two should have to compete.
That's exactly why we love what we do at Mattress Outlet.
1. You're Buying Your First Mattress (And You're on a Budget)
First apartments. First homes. First time buying your own furniture.
It's exciting!
It's also expensive.
Between furniture, groceries, rent, utilities and everything else that comes with being an adult, spending thousands of dollars on a mattress might not exactly be at the top of your financial priorities.
And that's okay.
We've all been there.
But here's something we really want you to understand.
Just because you aren't ready to invest in a high-end mattress at full retail price doesn't mean you should have to sleep on something uncomfortable.
At Mattress Outlet, you'll find mattresses from some of the biggest names in the industry at discounted prices.
We're talking about brands like Sealy, Serta, Beautyrest, Stearns & Foster and more, depending on what happens to be available.
These aren't random, mystery-brand mattresses we've never heard of.
They're brands we know and trust.
And when we go home at night, we feel good knowing we're helping people get a better night's sleep without stretching their budgets further than they need to.
You have plenty of expenses when you're starting out.
Your mattress doesn't have to break the bank.
2. You're Newly Married, Moving in Together or Starting a New Chapter
First of all, congratulations!
Now comes the fun part.
Figuring out how to share a bed.
Maybe one of you loves a firm mattress and the other wants something softer.
Maybe one of you sleeps hot.
Maybe you're moving into your first place together, and the list of things you need to buy seems never-ending.
We get it.
You want a mattress that works for both of you, but maybe you're not quite ready to make a huge financial investment.
That's where the Outlet can make a lot of sense.
You can come in, lie on the mattresses together, compare different comfort levels and see what feels right.
And you might be surprised by the quality of mattress you can find within your budget.
A great night's sleep together doesn't have to start with a giant price tag.
Although we can't help you with who steals the covers.
You're on your own with that one.
3. You're Shopping for a Guest Room
Oh, guest rooms.
We love a good guest room mattress shopper.
And honestly, this is one of the most popular reasons people come into the Outlet.
Let's face it.
Not everyone wants to spend thousands of dollars on a mattress that might only be slept on a few weekends a year.
But you also don't want your guests waking up feeling like they slept on a pile of rocks.
Or worse, telling you about it over breakfast.
The Outlet is a fantastic place to find a really nice mattress for a guest room without paying traditional retail prices.
Maybe you find a discontinued Sealy.
Maybe it's a Beautyrest closeout.
Maybe a floor model from one of our other stores comes through.
You can give your guests a comfortable place to sleep without spending a fortune furnishing a room that isn't used every night.
And when your in-laws decide to stay an extra week?
Well, we can't help you with that either.
4. You Own an Airbnb, VRBO or Vacation Rental
Okay, vacation rental owners.
This one's for you.
If you own an Airbnb, VRBO or other short-term rental property, please don't overlook the mattresses.
Seriously.
Think about it.
People can forgive a lot of things when they're traveling.
Maybe the kitchen is a little smaller than expected.
Maybe the parking isn't ideal.
But a terrible night's sleep?
That's something guests tend to remember.
And uncomfortable mattresses can absolutely show up in your reviews.
One of the smartest places to invest in a vacation rental is where your guests are actually sleeping.
This is why we love helping Airbnb and VRBO owners shop the Outlet.
You may have the opportunity to purchase a high-end, name-brand mattress at a fraction of its original retail price.
Imagine finding a Stearns & Foster mattress that originally retailed for around $4,000, but you're able to purchase it at a significantly discounted price because it's a closeout or floor model.
Now you're furnishing your rental with a recognizable, premium mattress without paying that original retail price.
And if it's genuinely the mattress your guests will be sleeping on, you can even mention the brand in your listing.
For travelers who pay attention to sleep comfort, that can be a nice detail.
Because let's be honest.
Nobody books a vacation hoping to wake up with a sore back.
5. You're Finally Upgrading to a King-Size Bed
Here's something interesting we've noticed at the Outlet.
A lot of people who come in shopping for king-size mattresses aren't furnishing guest rooms.
They're shopping for themselves.
And we love that.
Because when it comes to king-size beds, especially premium mattresses, the price can climb pretty quickly.
Maybe you've wanted a king for years.
Maybe you're tired of fighting for space.
Maybe the dog somehow takes up half the queen-size mattress.
Or maybe you've just decided it's time to upgrade your sleep.
Whatever the reason, the Outlet can be a fantastic place to start.
We occasionally get some really beautiful, high-end king-size mattresses at incredible prices.
Maybe it's a discontinued model.
Maybe it's a floor model.
Maybe it's a closeout opportunity.
You never know.
And that's the beauty of shopping the Outlet. You might find a mattress that was originally outside your budget suddenly becomes an option.
Just remember, inventory changes constantly. If you find the king-size mattress that feels right, we can't promise another identical one will come through our doors.
6. Your Kids Need a Better Mattress
This one is especially important to us.
Kids deserve good mattresses, too.
Sometimes, when parents are shopping for their children, there's a temptation to think, Well, they're just kids. They don't need anything fancy.
And no, your eight-year-old probably doesn't need the most expensive mattress in the store.
But they do need a comfortable, supportive place to sleep.
Think about everything we ask of our kids.
School.
Homework.
Sports.
Practices.
Friendships.
Growing.
Learning.
And about a million other things.
Sleep plays a huge role in their physical development, learning, mood and recovery.
So yes, we absolutely think the mattress your child sleeps on matters.
And this is where Mattress Outlet can be such a great option.
You can find quality, name-brand mattresses at discounted prices without feeling like you're putting a giant investment into a bed your child may eventually outgrow.
Whether you're moving your little one into their first big-kid bed, upgrading your teenager to a queen, or replacing a mattress that has seen better days, come take a look.
Your kids deserve good sleep. Your wallet deserves a little consideration, too.
We think both are important.
So, What's the Catch?
Okay, let's talk about it.
Because we believe in being upfront about how the Outlet works.
There are a few things you should understand before shopping.
Our Inventory Is Always Changing
We don't simply order another mattress when one sells.
Our inventory comes from closeouts, overstocks, discontinued collections, floor models, one-of-a-kinds and other opportunities.
We might have a truckload of one brand this month and something completely different next month.
We generally have an idea of what's coming, but we can't guarantee exactly which brands, models, sizes or comfort levels will be available.
It's First Come, First Served
When you find a mattress you love, keep in mind that there may only be one.
Or two.
Or maybe a few.
But once they're gone, we cannot promise we'll get another one.
And even if we receive the same brand again, that doesn't mean it will be the same mattress.
Outlet Mattresses Don't Come With Warranties
This is important.
Mattresses purchased through our Outlet do not include a mattress warranty.
That's part of understanding what you're purchasing and why you're getting Outlet pricing.
We'll explain the mattress's condition and help you understand what you're buying before making a decision.
If you're purchasing a closeout or floor model, we want you to feel comfortable with the mattress and the terms of your purchase.
A great deal is only a great deal when you understand exactly what you're getting.
The Best Part? You Never Know What You'll Find.
That's the thing about Mattress Outlet.
We have people shopping for completely different reasons, with completely different budgets.
But they all have one thing in common.
They want to sleep well, and they appreciate getting a good deal.
And honestly?
We love that.
We love when someone comes in expecting to find a basic mattress and discovers a premium brand they never thought would fit their budget.
We love helping parents find great beds for their kids.
We love helping someone furnish their first apartment.
We love when a couple finally gets the king-size bed they've been wanting.
And we definitely love when somebody walks in and says, Wait, that's really the price?
Because that's exactly what the Outlet is about.
Great mattresses.
Trusted brands.
Really good deals.
And a little bit of treasure hunting.
Come see us at Mattress Outlet, 439 Daniel Street in Billings, Montana.
Walk around. Lie on some beds. See what's here.
You might find exactly what you're looking for.
Or you might find something you didn't even know you wanted.
Mattress Outlet. Because good sleep shouldn't have to come with a scary price tag.
